This is an absolutely fabulous speech by Elizabeth Gilbert (author of the international phenomenon EAT PRAY LOVE) in which she discusses creativity, the muse, and how to deal with our personal successes and failures as artists in the modern world. As a writer, or any creative individual for that matter, you need to listen to it and take what she says to heart.
I’m still mumbling snatches of the speech under my breath. “Swallow the sun” indeed!
